PTT Raises ICBL Limits to Support TOP and GPSC Liquidity (Effective 2 Jun 2026)
PTT (PTT Public Company Limited) disclosed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that it is adjusting the “Inter-Company Borrowing and Lending” (ICBL) limits between the company and its subsidiaries in which it holds less than 100%. The adjustment covers 2 companies: Thai Oil (TOP) and Global Power Synergy (GPSC), to improve intra-group cash flow and liquidity management efficiency, effective from 2 Jun 2026.
Original ICBL arrangement and basis for the adjustment
PTT said the Board resolved on 22 Jun 2012 to approve short-term intra-group borrowing and lending arrangements (ICBL) denominated in baht and U.S. dollars for short-term liquidity management and internal financial coordination within the group. The arrangement is an “Uncommitted & Unsecured Short-Term Loan” intended to enhance liquidity management efficiency.
Effective date of the new limits and applicable companies
PTT further explained that this adjustment is an amendment to the original ICBL contract. The original contract term ran from 20 Dec 2025 to 19 Dec 2026 (1-year term). The new limits take effect on 2 Jun 2026 and apply to 2 group companies: TOP and GPSC.
